First Floor Reopening, July 17, 2013

Phase V restoration saw the first floor reopened to the public on July 17, 2013. Thanks to many generous donations, the architectural firms of Ford Powell & Carson and Gensler, and the Vaughn Construction Company, Rosenberg Library is now offering the Galveston Community the highest standards in children's library services in a beautiful new setting, as well as state-of-the-art technology for self-check and intelligent materials return handling.  (You can see slides of the devastation the first floor suffered in the wake of Hurricane Ike by clicking here.)
