Children’s Summer Reading Club Begins

Friday, May 27
Register your child (rising 1st graders – 7th graders) for the Summer Reading Club and begin logging their reading time. Children get a free t-shirt with registration (while supplies last). Prizes awarded for every 60 minutes read / listened to and if the child reaches the goal of 600 minutes before August 13 they will earn a personalized trophy!

Children who have not yet started kindergarten will sign up for the 1,000 Books before Kindergarten reading challenge for the summer and will also receive a free t-shirt (while supplies last).

Moody Gardens Palm Beach Kick-Off Party

Friday, May 27
5:00 – 7:30 pm
Free swim party celebrating the 2022 Summer Reading Club Kick-Off. Identify yourself as a Rosenberg Library summer reading club participant at Palm Beach gate at 8928 1 Hope Blvd. Wear your swimsuit and a library t-shirt if you have one! Free admission for the whole family.

Comp-u-dopt offers a series of 12 sessions on Mondays and Thursdays from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm starting June 6 – July 21. Each attendee is asked to attend 80% of classes. Curious Kids: Great Tentacles!

Octopuses exist in seas throughout the world. Famous for their bulbous bodies, bulging eyes, and eight arms with suckers, these “monsters of the sea” are invertebrates, solitary creatures and highly intelligent.
