Rosenberg Library is now fine-free, eliminating overdue fines on books, DVDs and other library media. If you have an account with an outstanding fine, that fine has been erased.
Patrons are still responsible for returning materials to the library on time so other customers can enjoy them. Unreturned items that are moved to “lost status” (ninety (90) days overdue) will result in a replacement cost appearing on your account, along with a possible $5 processing fee, though if you have found the lost/missing item, *you can return it with no consequence*.
As a courtesy, the library sends out emails and/or text notifications prior to the due date for patrons who have provided the library with their email address and/or cell phone number. As a further courtesy, the library may send overdue notices by regular mail to patrons when their materials are more than ten (10) days overdue.
You can renew items in person at the Library, by calling us at 409.763.8854 Ext. 123, or through your online account.
If the item is lost for longer than ninety (90) days, there may be a replacement cost as well as a $5 processing fee. However, if you find the items and return them to the library, the cost is waived with no consequences!
Please note: lost/overdue items must be returned inside the Rosenberg Library. Do not return lost/overdue items to the Intelligent Book Return/Drop Boxes (Moody Methodist Church/north side of Rosenberg Library).
