The department offers an amazing selection of materials; a wide assortment of scheduled and drop-in programs; and a thirteen (13) station Computer Lab.

The department is equipped with a built-in puppet stage, and a custom-designed interactive play ship named the R.L.S. Treasure Bound. The ship features manipulatives for our youngest patrons to promote reading readiness by introducing pre-literacy skills.

There are three professional children’s librarians, and two library technicians on staff to provide free outreach programs to groups in the community and are pleased to offer suggestions regarding age-appropriate materials.

To request an outreach program for a group, assistance with recommendations, a class visit to the library, or a puppet show, please contact Karen Stanley at kstanley@rosenberg-library.org or phone (409) 763 – 8854 ext. 119.
