Temporary Digital Cards

Offering socially distanced services is important to Rosenberg Library. To help bring peace of mind, Rosenberg Library is happy to offer temporary digital cards to patrons who want them.

These temporary cards allow you to access any of Rosenberg Library’s digital content from anywhere without ever having to step into the physical library. Plus, it’s all free! Databases, digital books, movies, music and magazines are just some of what you can access!

What makes this card different from the usual, permanent card?

A temporary digital card can be obtained online. It only allows you to access Rosenberg Library’s digital content and expires after one year. When you apply for this card, we will automatically send you a physical version for your records. Note: for applicants under the age of eighteen (18), a parent or guardian’s identification is required.

A permanent card can only be obtained in person at the library. It allows you to access all Rosenberg Library services and content, both online and in person.

You can change your temporary digital card into a permanent library card by visiting the circulation desk on the 1st floor of Rosenberg Library. An up-to-date ID as well as proof of residency is required.*

*This process helps us verify and protect identities.
